Kirklees GAP Advocacy Project
Dewsbury Business Centre
A new group advocacy project run as part of Ask 4 Advocacy, for people with Mental Health Issues who wish to be heard by Mental Health Services in Kirklees. The project has been put together by advocates who found that the same issues regarding SWYPT CMHT kept coming up with many different clients, whose voices were not being heard and whose concerns are not being addressed.
The project is open to everyone and aims to hold group meetings/forums /workshops and to gather case studies and research from people in Dewsbury (and across Kirklees) to present to commissioners and service providers; to show them what it is that the service users of Kirklees want and need when it comes to mental healthcare.
